Interim Senior Management Accountant
Venn Group’s Finance Recruitment Team are currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Management Accountant for an outstanding Charity based in Bristol.
Location: Bristol (Mostly Remote)
Contract Type: 3-6 months
Hours: 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri)
Rate: £50k
Responsibilities include:
- Forecasting both income and expenditure (consolidation and business support working alongside the rest of the management accounts team) and cashflow forecasting
- Responsible for managing and helping support the financial performance of the charity (fundraising, policy and campaigns teams, trading) and to corporate services (HR, IT, Marketing, etc)
- Bid development and support for Fundraising
- Providing general financial advice and support to a range of non-financial stakeholders
- Supporting month end including accruals, income checks and the preparation of management accounts
- Ensuring restricted funds are reported correctly and adhere to policy
- Liaise with senior business leaders across the charity regarding financial matters
Essential Skills:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Cashflow Experience
- Self Sufficient
- Strong Communicator
Desirable Skills:
- Charity experience
