Venn Group is working with a London based Local Authority to recruit for an Interim Test Analyst, to support business application testing and administration within the IT department. The Interim Test Analyst will be responsible for delivering day-to-day testing services, ensuring the quality and performance of business applications
There may be times when the Interim Test Analyst is required to be available out of hours, including weekends
Rate: £350 umbrella - inside of IR35
Working arrangement: Hybrid
Responsibilities of the Interim Test Analyst:
- Create and execute test scripts for user stories, ensuring thorough manual testing of individual components and end-to-end user journeys within a CRM replacement program
- Record test results and create high-quality test plan documents to meet requirements and mitigate risks
- Conduct functional and regression tests, support UAT testing, and collaborate within an AgileScrum framework with business analysts, developers, and QA staff
- Ensure testing is completed on time, review and manage test logs, and provide technical guidance to project managers
- Apply QA best practices, seek process improvements, conduct stakeholder demos, and provide updates on testing progress
Essential Requirements of the Interim Test Analyst:
- Experience in end-to-end testing (functional and integration)
- Experience in administering finance or customer-related business systems
- Strong manual testing experience, including end-to-end testing and UAT support
- Experience as a test analyst for a CRM product
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing within an agile program
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and test/defect management tools like HPQC and JIRA
- Experience working in a local government environment
Desirable Requirements:
- ITIL foundation, or equivalent training and/or certification
- Technical or professional qualification related to the role, or studying towards
