IT Procurement Business Partner
Rate: £400 - £480 per day, please note this will be depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Start: ASAP
Location: Fully remote working
Duration: 3 months initially with possible extension
We are currently working with a large Local Government organisation who are seeking the interim support of a IT Procurement Business Partner to join their growing team to develop and help the organisation in achieving its 2030 ambitions.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Providing a comprehensive, procurement and commercial service for ICT projects
- Working with internal teams, supporting them with the delivery of projects through the procurement of contracts
- Working through the procurement lifecycle, providing advice, identifying and delivering opportunities to transform procurement
- Gathering information and creating commercial contracts
- Developing relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure value for money Ideal Candidate
- A ‘people person’ able to forge strong working relationships at all levels
- Ambitious and confident with the ability to think outside the box
- Experienced in procurement and supplier relationship management
- A proven track record in successful delivery of complex projects
- Strong commercial focus
