IT Support Engineer – Immediately Required
Duration: 3 months initially
Location: Coventry
Hours: Part-time hours available; please enquire at application
Pay Rate: £12.86 - £19.90 per hour including holiday
(Rates dependent on experience / shift pattern)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to assist the IT team of a reputable public sector organisation in Birmingham. The successful candidate will provide support in both a 1st Line and 2nd Line Service Desk environment, working on various sites in the field also.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Triaging and troubleshooting IT Issues
- Updating and resolving tickets logged via email, phone or in-person
- Supporting equipment and software
- Windows 10/11 OS administration
- Office 365 troubleshooting
- Handheld and smartphone devices
- Supporting both home and office working environments
The successful candidate will have:
- A full UK driving licence to visit sites
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking
- Previous exposure to Citrix
- Enhanced DBS in place at the time of start
