Land Charges Assistant
We are recruiting for a well-regarded Local Authority in Surrey, for a Local Land Charges Assistant.
This is an excellent role to start mid-January, to conduct a handover with the current post holder before they move on to their new position. The role will begin on an interim basis due to the immediate nature of the role, with the opportunity to go permanent or continue on an interim basis until the Council recruits permanently themselves. The Council is currently working on an all remote basis so this role will work this way for the foreseeable future, with the handover to also be conducted remotely via video.
Due to the March 2021 deadlines fast approaching, we are seeking a candidate with previous local authority experience handling land charges.
The current caseload of searches is varying between 15-20 per day with the overall aim to get as much done as possible. You will be expected to use the systems Lotus notes and Map Info/Stat Map, and complete various land registry forms such as LLC1, Con29 and Con29O.
