Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer (Part Time) – Remote Working – Up to £55 per Hour Umbrella – Home Counties
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority in the Home Counties who are recruiting for a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their department.
The role is offered for an initial period of 3 Months with a likely extension and will be worked on a part time (2 days per week) basis.
The ideal candidate will be a Solicitor or Barrister with prior experience working within Local Government carrying a full and varied caseload of Adult Social Care matters.
Previous experience and knowledge needed includes:
• Understanding of the legal framework and case law relating to, Adult Social Care, Children Social Care and Health
• Understanding of the issues facing Local Authorities, legal service departments and Lawyers
• Providing legal advice to Local Authority clients in one or more of the areas above on complex matters
• Manage and prioritise workloads to achieve Client outcomes to timescale and within budget
• Self-sufficient in the production of all documents and correspondence without the need to rely on secretarial staff
An hourly rate of up to £55 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependent on experience level.
