Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – Part Time - South East – Fully Remote Working – 3 months initially– up to £60 per hour Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Commercial Project & Construction Lawyer to join a prestigious Local Authority in the South East of England. This assignment will be for an initial period of six months subject to likely possible extension thereafter. The role will be worked on a fully remote basis for the foreseeable. The role is offered for 30 hours per week however candidates seeking full time hours will also be considered.
The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister who is able to handle a complex caseload of contracts and procurement matters with professional experience gained within Local Government.
Duties may include:

Drafting contract clauses and negotiating with third parties as required including contracts and service level agreements

Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Efficient management of workloads adhering to given timescales and budgets

Advising on/drafting funding agreements and memorandums of understanding

Any other work relating to contracts and procurement to assist the team
An attractive hourly rate of up to £60 Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience.
