Venn Group are working with a local authority in the North West in search for a Locum Planning Lawyer.
The role will involve general local authority planning work for a large council, including:
- Section 106 agreements
- Attendance at Planning Committee meetings
- Assisting with the production of guidance materials and precedents for use by other members of the team
Start: Sep/Oct 2026
Duration: 3 months initially with scope to extend
Hours: Full-time and part-time considered
Travel: Remote with monthly attendance for committees
Rate: £55-60 per hour, umbrella
Candidates must be admitted as a Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx in England and Wales and have experience handling a caseload of childcare law matters.
