Interim Regulatory Lawyer – 3 months + - Predominantly Remote Working – Part Time – Up to £55 per hour – Home Counties
Position: Interim Regulatory Lawyer
Organisation: Home Counties
Duration: 3 months +
Working Pattern: Part Time (3 days per week)
Working Arrangement: Remote Working
Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will provide high quality legal services to the Local Authority in Regulatory Law including matters in relation to (but not limited to) environmental health and licensing.
Duties may include:
- Mixed caseload, particularly in Regulatory law to provide legal advice and represent the Council in court
- Conduct legal research and provide advice to the Council on Community Protection, Licensing, Environmental health and Regulatory law
- Prepare and attend Local Authority Committee meetings when required
- Represent the Local Authority in routine and contested cases in Magistrates or County Court
- Supervise the day-to-day management of the service as requested and deputise for the Legal Manager as needed
