Locum Remote School Appeals Manager (up to £35 p/h umbrella dependent on experience)
Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for a Locum School Appeals Manager with a Local Authority based in the West Midlands.
The team are looking for someone to carry out the role for an expected period of 6 months on a full-time basis, it will be worked on an all remote basis for the foreseeable future.
Day to day responsibilities may include:
- Follow the statutory guidance to ensure the proper and smooth administration of the School Admission Appeals
- There will be admin support for the post holder together with clerks to undertake the appeals. The ability to clerk hearings will be preferable but not essential
- The post holder will be required to ensure that appeals when received are logged and properly allocated to appeal hearings, that all necessary arrangements for the hearings are made, and to deal with any specific queries relating to the administration of the appeals on or the statutory guidance and appeal code
The role is offering up to £35 p/h umbrella dependent upon experience.
