Locum Senior Information Rights Officer

Senior Information Rights Officer – Local Authority – Full Time – Remote Working

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Information Rights Officer to join a Local Authority on an initial three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and resolving information requests, including Data Protection and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, within statutory timeframes.
• Developing and implementing strategies, policy frameworks, and system plans on behalf of the Authority.
• Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and elected members on legal changes relating to Information Rights.
• Handling Subject Access Requests (SARs), with a particular focus on Housing Disrepair SARs.

Assignment Details:

• Contract: Three months initially, with the likelihood of extension
• Working arrangements: Full-time, fully remote
• Rate: Up to £45 per hour (Umbrella)
