Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Media, Sales and Marketing Coordinator for a public sector organisation based in Birmingham. This is a permanent role and is offering a salary of £24,483 annually.
The successful candidate will be working on a hybrid split of 3 days on site and 2 working from home and will be educated to degree level. This is a full time position Monday – Friday, 35 hours a week.
Duties will include:
- To work with the Communications & Marketing Manager to generate commercial income through the delivery of advertising, sponsorship and conferencing activity
- To coordinate and deliver external advertising, conferencing and related income generation and commercial activities, such as sponsorship
- Identify and develop new commercial advertising and sponsorship opportunities and activities within the organisation
- To generate external advertising revenue for the organisations media such as publications and online
- To develop and deliver the external room bookings and conferencing function, actively sourcing new business, working to develop relationships with external clients, and developing a culture of repeat bookings
- To coordinate the promotion of, and generate income through, Totum card sales
- To meet annually agreed targets; both financial and non-financial
- Undertake all relevant administration emanating from revenue generation activities
- To develop and maintain the CRM contact database
- To support campaigns and projects through the marketing life cycle; from initial brief, to creative, to delivery and measurement
- To develop and maintain effective relationships with relevant local and university stakeholders
