Job Summary
The Post Holder will be required to demonstrate self-motivation, the upholding of professional standards, be conscientious and well organised in their approach to the job.
The duties will include contributing towards providing a Medical Equipment Management service, ensuring that all the medical equipment is managed to the correct standard over all the Trust’s sites.
The job will include operating the medical equipment asset register (currently the Planet FM system).
It will be essential to ensure all the planned preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs and other equipment work is carried out to the correct standard and completed on time.
The Post Holder will be required to assist with safety alerts/ clinical incidents and take responsibility when required.
The Post Holder will be required to communicate with Trust staff at all levels and attend multidisciplinary meetings, as and when required.
The Post Holder will provide technical guidance to Users, Estates Staff and Service Contractors in the resolution of complex issues regarding medical equipment.
