Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Medical Staffing Manager for a Public Sector Organisation based in Birmingham. This is a temporary contract for 3 months initially, offering an hourly rate of £19.95 PAYE including Holiday Pay.
The role is Full Time 9am-5pm and office based 4 days per week with 1 day per week remote working available.
Responsibilities:
- To provide specialist knowledge, advice and support on medical staffing issues within the division providing support with recruitment in consultation with the Medical Resourcing Team
- To check bandings in offer letters and confirm banding rates for Medical Resourcing Team
- To organise, undertake and co-ordinate Induction for all Junior Medical Staff on commencement in the Division, ensuring induction is delivered and recorded as delivered to all junior medical staff
- To facilitate the timely recruitment of both training and non-training junior medical staff within the Division by working with the Medical Resourcing team as required
- Draw up adverts, job descriptions and person specifications for vacancies and approve salaries and appointment letters for all junior doctor posts within the Division, working with the Medical Resourcing Team as required
- To co-ordinate Junior Medical Staff across the Division to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained in all areas, this includes ensuring appropriate cover is maintained at all times
- Continually monitor rota codes associated with the junior medical workforce ensuring they are accurate and reflected correctly on the junior workforce staff list
- Liaise with Medical Resourcing and Group Finance Managers accordingly
