VACANCY – Neighbourhood Coordinator
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme (mix of office-based work, homeworking and visits)
Length: Temporary – 5 months
Hours: 37.5 hours per week,
Monday – Friday
9AM – 5PM
Pay: PAYE and Umbrella options available
Dependent on experience
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Coordinator to work for a large social housing provider in Staffordshire. The Neighbourhood Coordinator will provide front line housing management services, including estate management, community safety and anti-social behaviour management to customers, resident groups and their representatives. The area to be covered includes Newcastle-under-Lyme and surrounding villages, therefore the post holder must have a full UK drivers’ license and access to their own vehicle.
Responsibilities of the role:

Ensure the delivery of customer focused neighbourhood and estate management services to tenants, leaseholders, shared owners and prospective customers seeking housing

This includes neighbourhood and tenancy management, caretaking and monitoring delivery of communal services

Contribute to the lettings performance by delivering accompanied viewings, sign ups on site dealing with tenancy terminations and carrying out welcome visits and new tenancy visits in accordance with the policy

Ensure the process for customers’ ending their tenancy is efficient, prevent any unnecessary terminations and highlight recharges and repairs

Monitor terminations and reasons to identify and develop business cases for Local Lettings Plans

Deliver effective anti-social behaviour services, ensuring that all complaints, incidents of ASB and harassment are fully investigated and dealt with in line with policies and procedures

Work with partners to create safe and sustainable neighbourhoods and raise the profile of positive neighbourly behaviour

Identify different methods of dealing with neighbourly behaviour such as restorative justice, mediation

Carry out regular estate inspections and regular monitoring of neighbourhood service contracts including gardening and cleaning, encouraging customers to attend

Ensuring relevant action is taken on performance failures identified

Ensure the maximum use of internal and external support services by making appropriate referrals to providers with the aim of helping individuals to sustain their tenancy
Essential experience/requirements:
