Payroll Clerk
Duration: Permanent
Location: Work from Home at present, will progress to Hybrid (2 days in, 3 days from home)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, 37.5 hours
Salary: £23-26k annually
An opening has arisen for a Payroll Clerk at a housing organisation. Candidates must come from a payroll background.
The successful candidate have experience in a similar position and be responsible for:
- Processing new starters and leavers as well as amending personal changes
- Administrating absences and processing statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and SAP
- Reviewing payroll processes in addition to carried out weekly and monthly payroll reconciliations
- Analysing and reporting on financial data as well as running employee benefit schemes
- Preparing Excel payroll spreadsheets and importing them to the system
- Processing all tax documentation including P45s and P46s
- Calculating payroll from timesheets and general payroll administration
- Completing and submitting payroll year end
- Possessing excellent communication skills to assist with query resolution
