Venn Group are currently partnering with a charitable group in St. Neots to recruit a Payroll Officer on a full time, temporary basis. The position is to cover a period of 2 to 3 months while they look to recruit permanently.
The position is part of the Payroll/HR team and supports the organisation in the preparation of all company payrolls.
Main duties:
- Investigate and resolve payroll issues and ensure strict compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations
- Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management
- Review payroll prior to sign off, highlighting anomalies and investigating discrepancies
- End-to-end employment processes dealing with pensions and retirement paperwork as necessary
- Complete and submit via portal monthly and periodic returns for all pension schemes, including new joiner, leaver and pension estimate procedures
We are seeking candidates experienced in payroll who can ideally hit the ground running.
Due to the nature of the role, we require candidates who are available for an immediate start or candidates on very short notice periods.
