Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Job description: Venn Group is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a reputable organisation based in Warwickshire. This is a permanent opportunity to join a dynamic team on a remote working basis (occasional visits to the office may be required).
You will be:

Ensuring that monthly and annual payroll data is accurately reconciled and balanced

Accountable for advanced data reporting and inbound and outbound assignments

Managing P11d and PAYE submissions, ensuring that all relevant documentation is completed and submitted and payments are made within HMRC timeframes

Running the tax year-end process

Balancing monthly payroll accounts and submitting reports to the company’s accounting department
-
Acting as subject matter expert, answering and resolving advanced payroll queries
-
Completing advanced system and data reporting as well as manipulating data in excel according to business requirements

Reviewing and creating working systems and processes to ensure they are fit for purpose, accurately reflect business practice and minimise process errors

Processing new starters and leavers as well as liaising with third party suppliers
The ideal candidate will:

Be experienced in handling a similar sized payroll of circa 1,600 employees

Possess strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)

Confident in using computerised payroll databases
