We're actively recruiting for Payroll Technician and Senior Payroll Technician positions with a long-standing client who has a consistent requirement for payroll professionals. Opportunities are available now, with roles ranging from end-to-end payroll processing through to senior-level payroll support, supervision, and team leadership responsibilities.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Processing payroll accurately and within strict deadlines
- Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Reconciling payroll payments and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, PAYE and statutory requirements
- Supporting month-end processes and payroll reporting
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll issues
- For senior positions, supporting team performance, quality checking work and acting as an escalation point for payroll queries
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience working within deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and best practice
- The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
