Planning and Enforcement Lawyer – 6 months – Part Time/ Full-Time - Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist team are currently working with a local Authority based in East Hampshire, who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for a Planning and enforcement Lawyer.
This can either be a part time temporary role. Working 3 days a week or full-time role. Working hours: 9am – 5pm (22.5 to 36hrs a week)
Responsibilities:
- Your work will include drafting a range of Section 106 Agreements including those relating to high profile strategic developments
- Advising clients both in writing and orally
- Drafting licenses and Agreements relating to highways matters and clearing Committee reports
- Manage a full and varied caseload of legal matters with an emphasis on Planning and enforcement issues, including giving legal advice to colleagues within the Council and its partners on the law and practice to enable the Council to discharge its functions legally and effectively
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate would have enforcement experience as well as experience of attending planning committees
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer and have experience working in a Local Authority
