A new urgent opportunity has become available for an experienced Planning Locum to join an established legal team within a vibrant Local Authority in the South West.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to manage their workload unsupervised and be highly organised
- Deal with a high volume and complex s.106 agreements and highways agreements
- Advise on rights of way, s278/38 agreements, committee work, enforcement notices,
- major road schemes planning matters and highways advice
- Provide legal advice on major compulsory purchase order matters and responsible for land assembly and acquisition negotiation
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as developers and building companies
- Deal with a range of parties, including District Councils, developers’ mortgagees and members
- Asses and deal with the status of public highways including High Court and Land Tribunal action
- Advise on bridge construction, waterways, licenses, title issues, estates and flood prevention
