The ICT Project Senior Support Officer will support best practice standards and processes for all programme and project management across IM&T which ensure that the function delivers its plans and objectives in order to improve quality and patient safety across the organisation.
He/she will support individual projects within various ICT programmes of work are efficiently managed and effectively delivered, with the framework of the Department’s project management systems and processes.
He/she will be the first point of contact for any PMO queries and will play a key role in helping to support effective business change and communication plans.
The post-holder will assist in the creation and improvement of processes, procedures and tools and support the PMO manager in the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management
He/she will provide support such as facilitation, tracking and reporting of ICT projects and programmes and will collate status reporting across the multiple projects and business functions. This will include reviewing project management documentation, reports and plans to ensure that they are relevant, accurate and complete.
