Project Manager (Structural Engineer) required for an immediate start
Location: Cambridgeshire
Length: 6 months, temporary ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Oversee the RAAC panels projects from conception to completion ensuring minimal disruption to staff and service users
- Carry out structural inspection and provide detailed reports, assessments and design solutions
- Ensure that all projects produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
- Obtain quotes and put together tenders for contractors and materials
- Develop and implement plans for project delivery, monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to take any changes into account
- Be responsible for day-to-day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skills required, implementation of project controls, making recommendations on changes to the specifications, budgets and schedules to the Project Sponsor
- Oversee works carried out by contractors and ensure works are being completed within the correct time schedule and budget
- Liaise regularly with stakeholders and attend progress meetings
Essential requirements:
- Experience working within a similar position previously
- Have a Structural Engineering background
