Job Title: Planner

Venn Group is currently working with a contractor within Manchester, who are recruiting for a planner on a contract or permanent basis
Project & duties will include:
- To assist in developing programmes and supporting documentation for tender submissions for construction projects across various sectors. The role will also give exposure to live projects and the opportunity to support project delivery
- Produce tender programmes to support bids
- Produce logistics and phasing plans
- Create, maintain, review, and administer construction schedules and plans
- Liaise with Managers and Engineers to discuss the progress of the project and address any issues that arise
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to organize the phases of the construction development
- Keep the client team up to date on progress to present to the client
- Present information for internal meetings on the project
- Communicate with other areas of the Glencar Construction business whether by telephone or email depending on the urgency and availability
- Any other duties as reasonably requested
Essential Skills/Qualifications
- A high level of competency on Powerproject software
- Experience working for Main Contractor in a site-based role
- Good communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Experience in the Industrial and Logistics sector is highly desirable
- A construction qualification (or working towards a qualification) is desirable
- A professional membership (e.g., CIOB) (or working towards a professional membership) is desirable
