Interim Public Health Analyst
Based in South East
Length: 6 months initially, with possibility of an extension
IR35 status: Inside
We are currently supporting a local authority client to recruit for an interim Public Health Analyst with at least 3 years’ experience in this space to support the Public Health Consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working within the public health team and providing support on the health and communities strategy, the health and wellbeing strategy, and health needs assessment
- Developing dashboards, supporting evidence reviews, and contributing to reports
- Providing input and advice into understanding the health needs of the population, addressing health inequalities, determining priorities for action, assisting wider understanding of the characteristics of the local population and actively disseminating the findings to a wide audience
- Using Power BI and Business Objects
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience working in a public health analysis role (minimum 3 years)
- Good understanding of public health aims, principles, and research methods
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Power BI and Business Objects
- Previously worked for a local government organisation
