Recruitment Lead: Band 8A

Length: 6 month FTC
Rate: £45,753 - £51,668 per annum

Our client, an NHS Foundation Trust based in Essex is looking to appoint a Recruitment Lead to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to advance their Strategic Recruitment Experience during a time where their efforts will undoubtedly help the NHS greatly.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist the Head of Workforce Efficiency in driving forward a joint focus on replacing long term Agency bookings with substantives to reduce Agency Spend.
- Support and challenge managers in the identification of high cost locums to replace with substantive or fixed term candidate solutions driving down agency spend.
- Work with management teams to develop workforce plans to improve service delivery and financial stability.
- Analyse data from the recruitment system and offer solutions, insight or training as required to improve outcomes.
- Coach Managers in managing change, maximising individual performance, building teams, whilst driving down cost and agency utilization.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all internal policy and employment legislation.
- Work alongside the recruitment managers for management of recruitment pipelines but no direct line management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Recent NHS or Public Sector experience
- Experience managing a recruitment team
- Ability to develop professional relationships with senior staff and colleagues
- Innovative and solution focused thinking
