Registered Manager
A registered mental health Charity with services in Wiltshire are currently looking to recruit a Registered Manager on a permanent contract.
Salary: £32,025.17 to £35,734.46 per annum
Hours: 35 per week (Monday to Friday)
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per annum plus 8 bank holidays (rising to 30 days)
Main purpose of the job:
To lead the staff team and ensure that the home, an 8 bed property designed for people who have experienced long-term mental illness, operates effectively and complies with CQC regulations
Main responsibilities:
- Ensuring that staff within the area are aware of and comply with financial control; recording and coding of financial information and handling of service user’s money
- Proving evidence that staff understand and maintain standards expected by CQC
- Responding to Quality audits and Health & Safety audits
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of service delivery and contract performance
- Engaging with community events, meetings and forums to promote the service
- Recruitment, training and development of Support Workers
Essential requirements:
- Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care
- 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting
- Experience of providing effective supervision, leadership and management of staff
- Knowledge of medication procedure and able to deal with behaviours that can challenge
- The post is subject to an enhanced DBS with Adults Barred check
