Permanent Rent and Service Charge Accountant opportunity
An exciting position has arisen for a Rent and Service Charge Accountant within a medium-sized organisation, based in Oxfordshire. This is a key role to provide financial support to the Housing Services team.
Your duties will include maintenance and reconciliation of the rent ledger with accurate and up to date information and providing support for the annual review process for rent and service charge setting. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly reports for Housing Services and attending meetings to review, and ensuring compliance with the Rent Standard.
The ideal candidate will be part qualified or studying towards CIMA/ACCA, however qualified by experience will also be considered. In order to be considered you must have previous working experience for a Social Housing organisation, ideally within rents and service charge accounting.
The organisation will offer the ability to work a hybrid model with days working from home and in office. Holiday entitlement is 33 days including bank holidays as well as offering a range of other benefits, including study support.
