Temporary Repairs Planner Role

A position has arisen for a Repairs Planner within a leading contractor based in Greater Manchester. This is a key role on a 3 month temporary ongoing basis. It is paying £12.00 - £14.00 per hour
The successful candidate must have experience in Housing Associations
The duties, of which experience is essential, will include:

Working with the scheduling system for the allocation of resources over the periods of day to weeks to ensuring all appointments, Empty Homes and other planned / non responsive works are attended to and that resources are used effectively

Ensure that the operatives communicate in a timely and accurate manner about the progress of works

Reschedule jobs in the event of an unplanned absence of an operative, and to communicate directly with the customer, Maintenance Contract Manager to agree any changes

Deal, on a daily basis, with emergency jobs, non-appointed tasks, follow-on-work, cancelled and suspended jobs, making sure that all in-house systems are updated accordingly

Promptly and accurately raise work orders in relation to Follow on Works, Commercial works and separate requests from the management team

Working with DRS and DL systems
The successful candidate should have:

Experience working in repairs planning

Mixture of WFH and Office working
This would be an ideal role for an accurate and hands on candidate who is ready to hit the ground running and add value to a team.
