Venn Group have been approached by a support organisation and would like to introduce the following position available
Position: Senior Housing Officer
Location: Rochdale
Rate: Negotiable dependant on experience
Length: Temp to perm
Hours: A minimum of 40 hours per week
The role will predominantly involve:
- Assisting in the management of the referral process within the project to achieve agreed occupancy/target levels
- Leading in the assessment and management of risk including the operation of physical and situational security measures to control the level of risk posed to the public, staff and others in relation to the referral and letting of properties

- Supervising and helping support the development of staff as directed by your line manager and to assist in the recruitment, training and supervision of the staff team
- Supporting the Housing Officers in providing information and advice about Welfare Benefits especially that of Housing Benefit
- Signposting to and liaising with advocacy/agencies (including culturally specific groups) in order to support client’s needs
The successful candidate must have an Enhanced DBS, a full driving licence and access to a car
