Senior Integration Developer – Fixed-Term Contract
Venn Group are currently working with an esteemed NHS organisation in London seeking three Senior Integration Developers to support the deployment of the Epic, Digital Health Record
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing integration and interoperability solutions in accordance with Trust development standards and the guidance of the Integration Development Manager
- Building extensible data acquisition and integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the business
- Implementing processes and logic to extract, transform and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources
- Building solutions from user requirement and functional specifications that are fit for purpose, scalable and flexible as true enterprise solutions
- Demonstrating consistent individual performance in HL7, FHIR, XML, Web Services (among other) technologies as core development skills to a high standard
- Developing solutions in ways that allow future changes to be implemented with minimal service disruption
- Managing their own work plan and that of more junior staff according to agreed deliverables and timeframes, reporting any deviations to the Integration Development Manager
Ideal skills and experience required will include:
- Extensive experience of working on business-lead IT projects as a software developer/integration engineer
- Significant experience of integration/interoperability development
- Technical management experience
- Advanced knowledge of integration technologies and standards e.g. HL7, IHE, FHIR
- Advanced skills in information flow analysts and data mapping between systems
- Industrial grade programming skills, such as, Cache Object Script, JavaScript, C#, SQL, HTML. XML, XSLT, XDS, SOAP/RESTful Web Services
- Information security and data protection knowledge
Duration: 17 months (potential to extend or go permanent)
Location: Remote/Chelsea
Salary: Band 8A, £54,223, per annum (pro rata)
