Service Manager Immediately Required via Venn Group
A prestigious Supported Living organisation in Bristol requires a Service Manager to join their team on a 12 month FTC initially, this role could become permanent.
Location: Bristol
Contract Type: FTC 12 months (could lead to a permanent position)
Hours: 37 hours Monday to Friday
Annual Salary: £33,966 - £38,211 per annum

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Support the development, implementation and management of new and existing services that deliver recover and wellbeing opportunities to those with mental health conditions and various housing and support needs
- Ensure that services and projects run effectively on a day to day basis and ensure that targets are met and agreed with local authority commissioners and senior operations manager
- Support the growth of services to support people in crisis, reduce admissions to emergency departments and ensure that clients are receiving the correct support
- Manage service budgets, risk and resource management within set targets/objectives
- Monitor and evaluate service impact
- Complete internal and external reporting
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and incidents within services
- Effectively manage teams to ensure that service and project objectives and standards are met
- Collaborate with other managers to maximise achievement of operational objectives and promote effective communication and teamwork
- Produce regular service reports and carry out regular monitoring and evaluation activities for department
- Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures in line with legislation and best practice
- To understand and embed the principles of trauma-informed working
Essential Skills:
- A current valid DBS
- A minimum of 2 years proven experience supervising teams
- Demonstrable experience working with people with mental health needs
- Experience in working in the community (e.g. supported housing service, community mental health team, day centre)
