Venn Group is working with a Local Authority in London to recruit two Interim Technical Implementation Specialists for the completion of a Salesforce implementation.
The Interim Technical Implementation Specialists will work work with stakeholders to capture requirements, translate them into specifications implementation and implement these. Currently these roles will focus on processes for Regulatory Services, which include Environmental Health and Protection, Licensing, Trading Standards and Enforcement.

Responsibilities of the Interim Technical Implementation Specialist:
- Performing Salesforce configuration and customisation to support internal and customer-facing Salesforce environments, especially related to customised applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects, workflow automation etc
- Working with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into specifications for implementation
- Analysing business processes, needs and requirements to document, validate and functional requirements
- Create and configure user profiles, roles, permission sets, and assignment rules
- Create and customise standard and custom objects including fields (including formula fields), page layouts, security rules, workflow and validation rules
- Automating processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules, Email alerts
- Create and configure reports and dashboards across functional groups
- Working with creation of profiles and permissions
- Coordinating end to end implementation and testing of new workflows, rules and objects
- Implementation of reporting including data import and export, bulk data updates, reports and dashboards
- Working with external Salesforce support agencies to deliver customisations where code development / or other complex integrations are required
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, escalate and track problems appropriately
- Establish, implement, and administer best practices with regards to system maintenance, security, release management, improvements, data integrity, duplicates, backups, etc.
Required experience for the Interim Technical Implementation Specialist:
- Previous experience as Salesforce Consultant (Functional and Technical) is essential
- Strong Salesforce product knowledge and experience of building salesforce solutions
- Customisation of Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce / LEX, Lightning Components, Force.com or Java/MySQL
- Experience implementing Salesforce configuration changes including: workflows, process builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings and dashboards
- Experience implementing Salesforce integration into other supplier systems e.g. payments
- Ability to run discovery and design meetings with stakeholders to identify requirements
- Data migration & integration using data transfer tools
