Technical Support Officer
An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Officer to support the Housing and Investment team in a local authority on a full-time, temporary basis.
Type: Temporary
Length: 3 months
Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: 37 hours per week
Daily duties:

Maintain and develop processes and procedures, ensuring support is provided to all officers in the business unit

Provide administrative support on the day-to-day operation and the development of services across the service area

To raise purchase orders and process payment requests relating to invoices received, and record information as necessary

Establish and maintain manual and electronic records and filing systems understanding any relevant statutory timescales that are required e.g. retention policies

Organise and attend relevant meetings, set up appointments as requested by managers and where required, take minutes at meetings to distribute to colleagues

To process data in relation to various housing management functions onto the associated housing management systems such as Northgate and Keystone
Essential requirements:

Strong administration background within a similar role and proficient in Microsoft Office packages

Knowledge of Property Services or Construction

Previous experience using Northgate, Keystone or similar housing databases is desirable
