We are currently working with a prestigious private healthcare organisation to support them with the recruitment of Supply Chain professionals to work at a large Private Hospital based in Central London. They are looking for motivated, skilled, and experienced Inventory Coordinator’s to join a growing team.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Ensure deliveries are correct against the delivery note, including unit of issue, investigate discrepancies and resolve queries, whilst ensuring the item is not damaged.
- Receive and unpack stock, replenish storerooms in relevant wards and ensure that stock rotation is carried out continuously.
- Manage and maintain the electronic filing system, ensuring processes and software is current and in working order.
- Use handheld devices to scan bar codes and order product lines to bring stock levels to agreed max stock levels, based on a top-up system as directed.
- Assist and liaise with ward and department managers to manage their purchases and stock levels, whilst ensuring both instruments and equipment are required for surgical interventions.
- Support the Procurement Department with the implementation of any new stock/inventory management ordering systems that may be adopted.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Inventory/stock experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong systems skills
