Job Description

We are looking for an experience Application Engineer SME with experience working on Application Migrations & Application Transformations. Your role will be helping solution architects in prep, designing & support a large application migration.

Tasks will include providing hands on reviewing and in some cases producing application config documentation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

  • Must have experience delivering hands-on application support including reengineering & troubleshooting

  • Must have experience delivering application & data migrations

  • Experience deploying Infrastructure into Azure would be desirable.

  • Experience in introducing DevSecOps and agile methodologies to newly formed quality assurance practices\processes

  • Experience interfacing with the business stakeholders and building strong relationships to ensure that translate business requirements into technical solutions & roadmaps is essential

  • Ensure that all platforms remain performant in line with business requirements and have enough capacity to deliver the underlying service now and for the future

  • Perform adequate DR and Failover tests in line with the business RPO and RTO

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of application support experience, including delivery of application transformations or upgrades

  • Exposure to Azure / AWS roadmaps to support workable business solutions

  • PowerShell experience

  • Application architecture experience, with good knowledge of testing practices

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies

  • Ability to trouble-shoot complex/erroneous issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

  • Produce thorough documentation for all IT solutions for use in support handovers to local and Global IT Support Teams
