Temporary Supported Housing Officer Immediately Required via Venn Group

Venn Group Social Housing Recruitment Team are currently recruiting for a temporary Supported Housing Officer for our client based in Gloucestershire for an initial 2 month contract.

 

Location:             Gloucestershire

Contract Type:   2 Months +

Hours:                  37hrs (Mon–Fri 9-5)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct aspects of tenancy management across three schemes including: sign ups, tenancy visits, voids, building health and safety checks and help tenants access welfare benefits

  • Assist Neighbourhood Officers to sustain relationships with partners and stakeholders

  • Provide advice to tenants, ensure records are kept up to date, answer queries and signpost onto relevant services

  • Hold tenancy meetings when required to resolve any potential issues

  • Help improve and develop the supported housing services strategy, policies and procedures

  • Ensure legal obligations and all policies and procedures are implemented and complied with, including financial regulations, health and safety and all regulatory requirements

    Essential Skills:

  • GCSE Math and English A-C (or equivalent)

  • Previous working knowledge of tenancy management

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook

  • Full UK drivers licence and business insurance

  • Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months
