Our client, a local authority based in the South East to the west of London is looking for a temporary and a permanent Benefit Assessment Officer.
It is essential that the successful candidate has worked in local authority benefit departments with up to date Benefits Legislation knowledge. Recent iWorld v6 is essential for the temporary role with some flexibility for the permanent role.
The duties will include:
- Deal with all types of claims including complex claims
- Process new claims and change of circumstance
- Work on a RTI caseload
- System needed: iWorld v6
A successful candidate will need to have a recent Scottish Disclosure or apply for one in order to undertake the role
