Childcare Solicitor - Legal Executive or Solicitor

Competitive Salary – dependent on experience £££ + discretionary bonus

Grimsby

Full Time – Permanent

A long established and highly regarded firm based in Grimsby seeks to appoint a Legal Executive or experienced Solicitor to manage the firms established childcare law offering. The firm invests heavily in modern technology and is housed in contemporary offices. The firm is well situated, with good transport links and onsite parking.

Due to expansion, the busy team are looking to pass on an existing caseload of guardian, parent and Children Act work. A significant proportion of cases are Legal Aid funded. Our client is passionate about Childcare Law and as such has put great emphasis on expressing that only applicants that share that passion should apply.

With this in mind, should candidates be at the start of their career, our client will invest in training and developing those focused on becoming a member of the children panel.

For more experienced candidates the opportunity to develop the already outstanding work and maintain the firm’s enviable reputation in and around the Humberside and Lincolnshire area.

You will be joining a friendly, supportive, people centric firm who pride themselves on providing a specialist legal service with excellent levels of client care.

Essential

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive

  • Experience with childcare law

  • Ability to manage, develop and grow a caseload

  • Outstanding people skills

  • Some advocacy experience

 

Desirable

  • A member of the childrens panel
