A position has arisen for a Contract Monitoring Officer within a highly regarded public sector organisation based in Hertfordshire. This is a key role providing facilities contract support the Estates & Facilities team for a two month temporary, ongoing placement.
This opportunity will be working 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday) with a requirement to work one Saturday and Sunday each month. The successful candidate will work on a rotating shift pattern: 7:00am – 3:00pm/8:00am – 4:00pm/9:00am – 5:00pm/11:00am – 7:00pm.
Your duties will include:
Responsible for monitoring internal and external facilities contracts including pest control, cleaning and linen
Undertake cleanliness inspections on wards/departments
Review monthly contractor reports and support the Service Manager in validating contractual performance
Provide administrative support to the Facilities department including redirecting calls, preparing spreadsheets and dealing with enquiries
Review contractor auditing and helpdesk data on a daily basis identifying and reporting on any areas for improvement
Organise and invite clinical staff on cleanliness inspections
The successful candidate should have:
You must have experience working within cleaning/auditing previously, preferably within a healthcare environment
Must be available to start work immediately
