**Candidates must hold a valid SC clearance upon application**
A position has arisen for an EC&I Engineer within a large Defence Services organisation based in the South East, to provide Engineering support to site technicians undertaking installation / complex assembly of EC&I components in a Nuclear Class 1 facility. This is for a 12 months contract, initially.
Your duties will include:
Reading and interpreting complex Engineering assembly and part drawings
Producing, and maintaining in a timely manner, the documentation required for their part of the works
Implementation of Quality Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
Providing Electrical technical oversight to installation activities and act as Technical Point of Contact for Electrical Installation
Liaising as necessary with designers to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications as a consequence of conditions
Ensuring that Electrical Construction personnel comply with the requirements of Cavendish Nuclear procedures and where applicable project specific procedures and quality assurance programmes
The successful candidate should have:
A valid SC Clearance is essential
Electrical / Electronic Engineering HNC (or above)
Knowledge and experience of ‘The 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations’ (BS 7671:2018)
Experience of working in a Nuclear environment would be desirable
5 years relevant experience in a Production / Assembly / Test environment
