We are currently working with a public sector organisation who are seeking the interim support of a Head of Service Design and Change Lead to join the team for 6 months initially on a fully remote working basis for three days per week.
The organisation’s aim is to improve the experiences and outcomes for those children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs, they aim to develop an all age disability approach - a service that is experienced by its users as a coordinated and joined up seamless “offer” between Children and Adults social care and Health and Education partners.
They are looking for someone to assist them on this journey to facilitate and lead the design and shape of our all age approach. The successful candidate will undoubtedly have an operational background in leading Children’s or Adults SEND and Disability provision and significant experience in designing and leading change, across adults and children’s social care. Specific experience of enabling a move to one service for people aged 0-25 with special education needs and disabilities and/or developing successful transition arrangements would be a distinct advantage.
Rate: Daily rate reflective of experience
Start date: TBC
Duration: 6 month contract initially with likely extensions
Hours/Days: 3 days/21 hours per week
