Venn Group's specialist HR division are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor for an interim 4 month contract, working on behalf of a NHS organisation based in Doncaster.
We are looking to recruit a self motivated and conscientious HR professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who will have the ability to advise managers and staff on all aspects of employee relations matters. The role will involve providing advice and guidance on terms and conditions, supporting managers with workforce queries, handling disciplinary and grievance issues and getting involved with organisational change and TUPE matters.
The ideal candidate will have HR experience or a relevant qualification, the ability to liaise and communicate clearly and concisely and be able to cope with conflicting demands. A sound understanding of principles of good and effective employment practice, disciplinary procedures, ill health issues, knowledge of employment law, fair/unfair dismissal, redundancy and workforce security is essential. It is desirable that the candidate has a valid UK drivers licence and access to their own car however, this is not essential.
The successful candidate must have:
- CIPD qualification or relevant HR experience
- Excellent organisational skills
- Capability to work on own and as part of a team
- A strong employee relations background
- Understanding of workforce planning
- Understanding of contracts of employment and up to date knowledge of employment legislation
- Understanding of current issues faced by the NHS
