Temporary Requirement – HR Business Partner – Birmingham
Venn Group is currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner for a Public Sector Organisation based in Birmingham. This is a 6 month contract, offering an annual salary of £36,000 (Pro-Rata) plus benefits.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a large, complex Public Sector Organisation.
Duties will include:
Providing sound and professional high level advice and support as required around conditions of service, grievance, disciplinary, capability and health issues, assisting where appropriate, with the preparation and presentation of case material
Supporting Managers as appropriate in the delivery of key service specific initiatives identified within Service and Corporate Plans
Representing the organisation at both informal and formal consultations/negotiations with various Trades Unions & Professional Bodies
Formulating, reviewing and implementing HR policies and practices including specific procedures to meet corporate requirements
Designing and delivering training and briefings to managers on HR policies and practices
Producing reports on a range of human resource topics for management and present reports as appropriate
Keeping up-to-date with changes in employment legislation, case law and best practice
Supporting key stakeholders through departmental reviews and restructurings, including all consultation/negotiation processes as appropriate, some of which may result in potential redundancy situations
