Interim Campaigns and Marketing Lead
Based: London
Status: Inside IR35
Length of contract: 3 months initially

A London borough is currently recruiting for an Interim Campaigns and Marketing Lead to work across two major projects for the Council centred around Emergency Climate Change and Connected Communities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid in the development of the council’s campaigns around the two programmes 
  • Lead on the execution of the council’s strategies specifically working on the implementation plan
  • Work tactically across the organisation helping to deliver change
  • Manage challenging stakeholders and provide challenges where appropriate as well as leading on the strategic communication
  • Directly manage 2 members of staff providing guidance and direction towards achieving the councils goal
  • Deliver reports to seniors within the wider programmes


Ideal Experience:

  • Strong campaigns experience at a senior level
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to deal with stakeholders at a senior level
  • Local Government experience
  • Prior evidence of delivery within communications and good writing skills
  • Ability to build trust quickly
