Interim Communications & Stakeholder Lead

Length: 2 months initially
One of our Local Authority clients requires a communications professional with strong stakeholder management and engagement experience who will work with colleagues across the Communications and Town Centre teams to support their high streets agenda. This is a rapidly evolving area with a changing dynamic as a result of COVID19 and includes engaging with business about how they keep staff safe and how residents can shop safely. The Stakeholder Lead will therefore work closely with internal teams across the Council and externally with delivery partners and community partners to identify and effectively engage with residents, business and communities across the borough.
- Demonstrable experience of stakeholder management
- Ability to work at pace and engage proactively with members
- Strong communication skills
- Previously worked in a local government setting would be preferable due to member/officer dynamic and needing to be interface with the public
