We are currently working with a well renowned, globally situated Central Government organisation who are looking to acquire an Interim Senior Procurement Manager – Digital and IT. This is a new and pivotal role within the organisation and the successful candidate will have responsibility for delivering the management of procurement activity for all Digital and IT requirements, liaising closely with the Heads of Procurement, Digital and IT.
You will be responsible for reviewing and addressing current IT procurement projects including but not limited to the below:
- Contract management system (£4 million in value)
- CRM system
- HR System
- Payroll system
Superb communication is essential in this role as you will be providing expert leadership and advice to teams and stakeholders for Digital and IT requirements ensuring that procurement is always at the heart of any decision-making process.
Our client is looking for a candidate who is an IT Procurement Specialist, an expert in OJEU and has experience using G-Cloud and DoS. Demonstrable technical knowledge of managing the procurement and negotiation of high value, complex and business critical contracts is also a must for this position.
