Job Description

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an interim Learning and Development Advisor for a requirement within an NHS Trust in Central London 

The client with whom we are working is looking for a candidate who will:

  • Contribute to the People and Development strategy to improve overall organisational performance and effectiveness
  • Design, deliver and evaluate high quality learning and development interventions to support the delivery of the Recruitment and Retention and People strategy
  • Monitor and manage procedural compliance with standard HR Policies and Procedures including absence management, probationary periods, 48 hours working, appraisal, capability and conduct issues
  • Contribute to the wider training and development agenda by participating in appropriate projects and activities and identifying training opportunities for colleagues in order to meet workforce planning requirements
  • Assist the Learning and Organisational Development Manager in ensuring the provision of timely and effective learning and organisational development activities

To be considered for the post of Learning and Development Advisor you must have:

  • Experience within the NHS
  • Experience of delivering training face to face
  • Producing quality learning materials, including designing and delivering courses and coaching
  • A CIPD qualification or working towards one
  • Graduate level education (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of best practice in HR
  • Experience of working in a Learning and Development position
