Job Title: Clinical Negligence Litigation Executive (CILEX Qualified)

Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an award winning solicitor’s in Cheshire on a full time basis. They are looking for a CILEX qualified Litigation Executive to assist Director, Partner and Solicitor with a large caseload of clinical negligence cases.

The role will be to work under supervision and applications are welcome from candidates with claimant clinical negligence experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assessing new enquires
  • Ensure cases are progressed in a timely, efficient and in a proactive manner
  • Drafting Letters of Claim, Letters of Instruction and witness statements
  • Reviewing and summarising medical and personnel records
  • Dealing with correspondence and telephone enquiries
  • Managing a Proclaim task list in a timely manner

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience dealing with litigated files
  • Flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines
  • Experience in legal drafting and using Proclaim is preferable but not necessary

Salary:  DOE

Hours per Week: 35
