Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Scheduler on behalf of a large social housing provider based in Gloucestershire to begin a 5- 6 month temporary contract.

Location: Gloucestershire

Rate: £10.92 PAYE or £13.60 Umbrella

Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

Duration: 2-3 months

An overview of the role includes:

  • Working in a busy office and responding to maintenance queries via telephone and email
  • Receiving and processing repair calls from tenants and scheduling appointments
  • Confirming and raising work orders
  • Rescheduling appointments and speaking to tenants to arrange works
  • Updating the emergency call out rota
  • Determining the priority of the repair and entering the data onto the bespoke computer system
  • Liaising with contractors, making appointments and chasing job completion
  • Following up complaints where work has not been completed on time or contractor has not arrived on time

You must have:

  • Customer service experience
  • Housing experience
  • Experience working within a repairs department
  • Working knowledge of MS Office including MS Word and Excel

Desirable skills:

  • Previous experience working on the Northgate and/or Keystone systems
  • Experience working within a repairs department
